The Australian Marine Complex (AMC) is Western Australia’s key shipbuilding and sustainment industrial precinct, supporting the manufacturing, fabrication, assembly & maintenance requirements of the marine, defence, energy and resource industries.
Located in Perth’s premier industrial corridor, just 23km’s south of the city, the AMC is one of only two naval shipbuilding locations in Australia.

The AMC has just turned 21 years and over the course of two decades, more than 700 businesses have established short or long-term operations at our Common User Facility – contributing more than $3 billion to the WA economy, and directly creating more than 50,000 jobs.
The AMC Common User Facility offers heavy load out berth infrastructure, fabrication and assembly facilities, significant laydown areas and a floating dock and transfer system.

DevelopmentWA’s Industrial Lands Authority, responsible to the Minister for Lands, is the Western Australian Government’s land and property developer and is responsible for the overall management of the AMC
