WA Applied Engineering & Shipbuilding Training Centre

The WA Applied Engineering and Shipbuilding Training Centre services the training needs of one of Western Australia’s multi-million dollar export industries - the shipbuilding industry, in particular the aluminium fast ferry sector.

Ideally located in the heart of Western Australia’s shipbuilding region, the Centre offers training in areas including marine fabrication/welding, marine fitting, shipwrighting/fit-out and electrical trades.

A range of short courses is also available for people wanting to improve their skills, with the Centre able to provide training on and off-the-job and courses tailored to suit industry needs.
