The Common Use Facility (CUF) provides local companies with an internationally competitive fabrication complex which is a major advantage when tendering for contracts.

The CUF’s 40 hectare laydown area provides ample space for the modular assembly and testing of major projects including cranes.

The facility’s Main Fabrication Hall provides an 80 metre x 60 metre x 42 metre state-of-the-art fabrication hall with 200 tonne portal crane and two auxiliary cranes for an all-weather work environment.

Four wharves, one equipped with a 300 tonne crane, offer loadout capability and cost-effective sea transportation direct to site to remote locations such as the Pilbara.

The biggest names in resources including BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto and FMG have all completed significant projects at the CUF which will continue to play an integral role supporting the resources boom.
